Oh Fair New Mexico

we love we love you so. I have returned to the Land of Enchantment, incredible vistas, watermelon mountains, dramatic clouds, stunning summer thunderstorms, and lingering sunsets that get better by the second. August in Albuquerque has been good to me; I have even higher hopes for September. Here are some recent shots from my front yard:

more salsa than fits in the frame

On my first day back in New Mexico a few weeks ago, I went grocery shopping. I had forgotten that in Albuquerque, the stores have entire aisles devoted to salsa and green/red chile sauces. I was so tickled that I took a picture (yes, I carry my camera around in my purse for such moments). ¡Buen Provecho!
